WeddingWire, the nation’s leading wedding technology company, just announced that Crosswhite Photography has won the 2009 Bride’s Choice Awards™! Unlike other awards in which winners are selected by the company, the Bride’s Choice Awards are determined exclusively by recent newlyweds through surveys and reviews.
I want to thank all my brides for helping me win this award!
I wanted to let all of my clients know that I’ll be taking off the month of February. I will still be answering emails/phones,etc. I just won't be scheduling any shoots to take place in February. I will be using this time to send off my camera's to Canon for a little TLC, finish up my website and a few other surprises. It's hard to believe 2009 is well underway, but I'm very excited about the new opportunities and experiences it will bring. Since it's practically a sin to post a entry without a picture, I'll sneak in a picture I took over Christmas of my parents family cat,Taz. He was a barn cat but was quickly able to convince everyone that he belongs curled up on the foot of a bed. :)
I'm very excited to announce that a new website is coming soon! I've had my current site for over two years now and it's in much need to be updated. It will have larger images, new features, etc. I can't wait! If it's not up and running by mid February you have my permission to yell at me. ;-)
I had such a fun time with these two! This was my first time to shoot with Jamie & Kevin together and I loved how sweet they were with each-other and the chemistry between the two of them made them so much fun to shoot. It was an amazing wedding with lots of beautiful details. This was the perfect wedding to jump start 2009!
Jamie & Kevin, you are surrounded by family and friends who absolutely adore and respect you and I can definitely see why. I wish you both the best!
I just flew back from Jamie and Kevin's gorgeous wedding, so I'm now free to post her bridals. I've been holding onto these for several months and it's been so hard to not post them because I adore them. :-) I had a wonderful time exploring her college town of Waco, TX. Lots of new and fun places! Stay tuned for a sneak peak of their wedding.
Over Christmas I took a few photos of my sister and brother-in-law. Poor Clay got attacked by an ant pile but he survived! We only shot for about 15 min but I love what we got. I'm experimenting with new 'watermarks' for my blog posts. I think my current one takes up to much of the photo and can be distracting. Thoughts on the new simple one? Love it...hate it..don't care? :-)
